Drum winches

LANCIER CABLE cabling winches can be operat­ed very easily and are adjusted optimally to their application.
Drum winches are mounted on a stable base frame.

  • The drum is pulling the rope
  • An exact rope coiling device prevents the rope from getting jammed ­between lower rope layers
  • Due to the drum winch design  the  pulling force diminishes when the pulled in cable-length increases 
    while the pulling speed is permanently rising
  • Due to these facts the pulling operation parameters have to be permanently readjusted
