Sonde catcher
Safely and reliably catch sondes, shock absorbers and cleaning sponges
The sonde catcher ensures that sondes and other projectiles used during blowing operations through microducts are safely and reliably stopped after exiting the duct. This allows the blowing process to be completed in a controlled manner, preventing, for example, the sonde from being propelled out of the microduct uncontrollably and potentially damaged.
The sonde catcher is designed for projectiles weighing up to 70 g and travelling at speeds of up to 20 m/s. The duct connection accommodates microducts with an outer diameter of 7 to 22 mm.
Securely fixed, quickly ready for use
The microduct is simply inserted into the duct connection and securely fixed using the locking screw. Thanks to its flat and handy design, the sonde catcher can be easily positioned on a suitable surface. If no stable surface is available, the catcher can be secured to a suitable object using the mounting hole. This prevents it from moving or falling over during operation.
With its compact design and easy handling, the sonde catcher is a practical addition for working with microducts and ensures a controlled end to the blowing process.
